Between land and sea…

The Rhuys Peninsula, like a piece of land that ventures into the ocean, is full of surprises and offers its visitors a variety of pleasures.

On the sea side, “armor” you will love the beaches for lounging, sandcastles, fishing on foot but also hiking and bird watching.  Boat crossings are available to reach the islands of the Gulf of Morbihan, Aux Moines Island, the island of Arz.

On the land side, “argoat” you will discover the charm of small cities full of character, heritage and country markets. From Suscinio Castle to Port-Navalo to the beaches, be prepared to be amazed.

Between sea and Vilaine…

Your stay would not be complete without the discovery of the sea and Vilaine and of the architectural richness of Damgan and La Roche Bernard.

Damgan is a seaside resort where you can take time to walk on the large beach with its 5km stretch of sand. Swimming, water activities, a walk on the port of Pénerf… all the pleasures of an outing on the coast 6 km from the Chaumières de Fleuriac!

La Roche Bernard, is a small city of character and authentic charm with its cobbled streets and stone houses… The old port of La Roche Bernard is a great starting point for a visit with its quiet charm and old rigging. Be enchanted by the tranquillity of a riverside town and embark on a cruise on the Vilaine with the stars.


A stone’s throw from the Chaumières, you can also discover Billiers, a former fishing village, and the tip of Pen Lan with its megalithic site of the Grays cairn. Not forgetting Arzal, Lantiern, Noyal-Muzillac… and many other emblematic places of Southern Brittany!
